About MSN Messenger
MSN Messenger is a free program that is designed to let its users communicate with other people, who also have this program installed
on their computers, by sending each other instant messages, photos and other files in real time. It is basically a simple tool
to stay in touch with your friends and meet new people online.
Very first version of MSN Messenger was released to the Internet community in July of 1999 making basic instant messaging service accessible to the general public. Since that day, Microsoft has been adding many new cool features each year to make MSN Messenger into one of the most popular Instant Messaging services ion Earth, with a user base counting hundreds of millions of active subscribers. Although most users still call it MSN Messenger, or even simply “MSN”, but in December 2005 Microsoft had it renamed officially as Windows Live Messenger.
